David is a gay black Buddhist who pretends to be a writing jackalopian bookworm online. He is originally from the urban jungles of Baltimore, but has since migrated to the technical wilds of Silicon Valley, CA.
David loves to get into the heads of his characters, especially since they seem to be such very hard things to crack. Like a squirrel, he worries at the tough outer shell to get at the sweet, tender meat inside. This makes him sound like a serial killer (or a squirrel), but he is not. He is just a writer.
By the beginning of August, I'd very much like to have at least five short stories completed for editing and revision, with an eye towards eventual publication online or in a legit anthology/periodical/zine.
Ideally, I'd make 1 cent per word (or $500.00 raised for Clarion).
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $9,638.48 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
