Award-winning author of fantasy & dark fantasy (Shadowbridge), historical thrillers (Fitcher's Brides), and sf (The Pure Cold LIght), and lots of shorter fiction, too. Finalist for a 2014 Bram Stoker Award. Winner of a 2015 Asimov's Magazine Readers' Award.
19th century technology: fountain pens and notebooks. First comes the brouillon (for the French among us), the chaos draft. Then out of chaos sometimes form, sometimes more chaos. To the top supporter, a signed copy of my short story collection from Golden Gryphon, Attack of the Jazz Giants & Other Stories. This collection is now out of print, and will be accompanied by a signed, numbered copy of the limited edition promotional chapbook included in collection's pre-release orders: an interview conducted by author John Kessel and illustrated (as is the collection) by Jason Van Hollander.
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $12,907.77 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
