Christopher M. Cevasco writes fiction inspired by history. His short fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in NIGHTMARE MAGAZINE, BLACK STATIC, SPACE AND TIME, and the Prime Books anthologies SHADES OF BLUE AND GRAY: GHOSTS OF THE CIVIL WAR and ZOMBIES: SHAMBLING THROUGH THE AGES, among numerous other magazines and anthologies. He is a 2006 graduate of the Clarion Writers' Workshop and a 2007 graduate of Taos Toolbox. He was also the founding editor of the award-winning PARADOX: THE MAGAZINE OF HISTORICAL AND SPECULATIVE FICTION from 2003 to 2009. Chris is seeking representation for a recently completed novel of English resistance and rebellion in the years immediately following the Norman Conquest as well as for a psychological thriller about Lady Godiva. He's currently putting the finishing touches on his latest novel, a tale of murder and political intrigue set against the backdrop of the 10th-century Viking raids in England. He writes in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he lives with his wife and two young children.
Dark and steeped in history.
I'm currently giving a final editorial pass to my latest novel, BETWEEN EARTH AND HEAVEN, a tale of murder and political intrigue set against the backdrop of the 10th-century Viking raids in England. My goals for the 2016 Write-A-Thon are: (1) to fully complete these final edits; and (2) to write TWO additional new short stories.
$300 for Clarion ($100 for finishing the novel edits, and $100 for writing each of two new short stories).
Alas, the Clarion Write-a-Thon has ended, with $12,907.77 raised so far! However, we are still accepting donations. Thank you for your support!
