Writer Bio

Marian Via Rivera-Womack is a postgraduate researcher at the Anglia Ruskin Centre for Science Fiction and Fantasy working on the relationships of climate change fiction and the Gothic. You can read her at Apex, SuperSonic, Weird Fiction Review, and The Year's Best Weird Fiction, and she has published two novels in Spanish. Marian attended the Clarion 2014 workshop (San Diego), and is also a graduate of the Cambridge University postgraduate creative writing Master. She co-runs Ediciones Nevsky in Spain and the UK, and works as a librarian in Cambridge.

Writing Goal

I have two major edit projects under way, my short story collection, "Lost Objects", and my wip novel, "The Golden Key". I haven't been able to do anything on any of them since April, I hope the Thon helps me finish them both once and for all!
