Writer Bio

Lisa Morton is a screenwriter, author of non-fiction books, Bram Stoker Award-winning prose writer, and Halloween expert whose work was described by the American Library Association’s Readers’ Advisory Guide to Horror as “consistently dark, unsettling, and frightening.” Her novels include MALEDICTION and ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!: WASHINGTON DECEASED, and her most recent non-fiction work is GHOSTS: A HAUNTED HISTORY. She lives in the San Fernando Valley, but she isn't a Valley girl.

Writing Style

Dark fiction and non-fiction...but I'm an old-fashioned storyteller in both forms.

Writing Goal
